2007 Copyright, Jammin' for Darfur
Darfur has been embroiled in a deadly conflict for over three years, with at least 400,000 people having been killed and more than 2,000,000 innocent people forced to literally run for their lives.  The international community has declared this a genocide and have vowed to take action to help, and "Jammin' for Darfur" is but one small effort to do just that.

Living in refugee camps in Sudan or neighboring Chad, the Darfur Refugees are the "survivors" of many years of torture, rape and killings by the Janjaweed, just because they are different.

ALL of the money raised through "Jammin' for Darfur" will be used to help the Darfur Refugees, primarily to purchase solar cookers for families in the refugee camps.

"Jammin' for Darfur" is an afternoon of music performed by volunteer musicians primarily from local Middle Schools and High Schools to raise money for Darfur Refugees.
